      The Manager in Training (MIT) program is a ten-week program that covers all aspects of running a multi-million dollar business at Hollister Co. Each week the program focuses on a different aspect of running the business. The program is designed to teach the trainee on the necessary principles of management including creating the best in-store experience, delivering exceptional customer service, driving business metrics, hiring and staffing, training and development, store operations, and visual merchandising. The program is structured with daily and weekly feedback from the Store Manager and District Manager. The trainee will be required to complete daily readings and assignments, as well as on-the-job training paired with weekly assessments. After successful completion of the training program, the trainee is promoted to the Assistant Manager role.
