TIN FISH RESTAURANT TO OPEN AT TWELVE OAKS MALL
More palate-pleasing options to include A&W, Sanders
NOVI, Mich., April 24, 2009 - One of the most exciting restaurant concepts to emerge in metro Detroit will make another splash later this year, when Tin Fish opens at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi.
Owned by local restaurateur Candis Koch, the original Tin Fish in Fair Haven has offered a casually elegant waterfront experience on Anchor Bay since 2001. A second Tin Fish opened just last year at Clinton Township’s Mall at Partridge Creek and is quickly making waves with its bold design, eclectic menu and lively entertainment.
Tin Fish at Twelve Oaks will be a completely original and stylish offering, with officials revealing only that its theme will revolve around fish and water and will provide a truly unique, fun atmosphere for dining and entertainment. Like its predecessors, the Twelve Oaks location will offer a diverse menu for both land and sea lovers and will focus on creative, high-quality food and friendly, attentive service. Opening in time for the holidays, the restaurant will be conveniently located near the Valet entrance in the mall’s Nordstrom wing.

Another palate-pleasing option in store for Twelve Oaks shoppers this year is A&W, opening this fall–the perfect time to raise a frosty mug of the world’s number-one selling root beer. While the mixed-fresh-daily blend of herbs, spices, barks and berries remains a proprietary secret to this day, more widely known is the tasty brand of all-American food that A&W has served up since 1922. A&W will be located in the mall’s Lifestyle Café Food Court.
To further sweeten the offerings, longtime Detroit-area favorite Sanders will open a flagship store at Twelve Oaks Mall by this fall. Since its first soda fountain opened in 1875, Sanders has tempted customers with its famous candies, fudge toppings and baked goods as well as desserts, including its popular ice cream sodas and hot fudge cream puffs. The new Twelve Oaks store will not only offer these signature treats, but will also be the first Sanders location to bring back—by popular demand—Sanders’ vintage sandwiches, soups and light morning fare.
“These new additions are a wonderful complement to the 200+ offerings at Twelve Oaks Mall,” adds Jones. “It’s a selection to satisfy all ages, budgets and tastebuds.”
Twelve Oaks Mall is conveniently located at the intersection of three major highways, I-96, I-696 and I-275, at Novi and Twelve Mile roads in Novi.
