The ideal applicant must have a professional appearance and presence, previous cash handling experience, outstanding communication skills, strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work within a team environment and interact well with others.

Qualifications of the position:

  • Strong PC skills with ability to navigate through e-mails, notes and spreadsheets
  • Perform tasks with minimal supervision and ability to make sound decisions
  • Assertive approach to problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Ability to think and react to situations in a professional manner
  • Follow directions and utilize already established procedures of department
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically mobile and in possession of all senses so as to successfully perform requirements of position, including standing for long periods of time and occasionally lifting 5 - 20 pounds
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Compensation for this position is $9.00 per hour.

  • Previous experience in a retail sales environment with increasing levels of responsibility and strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead/direct, coach and train others in a retail setting, and the ability to resolve guest concerns/complaints well using communication, interpersonal, diplomacy and related skills required.
  • Experience in a specialty retail environment required.

Flexibility in work schedule is required including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as operational need may require.
